CEE6108 Smart materials and structural system engineering

The main objective of this graduate course is to provide an in-depth understanding of the characteristics, production methods, and applications of various cutting-edge construction materials. Throughout the course, we will delve into topics such as ultra-high performance, smart, recycled aggregates, eco-friendly, and refractory concrete, graining valuable insights into their properties and potential uses. 


CEE7306 Numerical analysis for civil engineering

The main objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of fundamental numerical methods widely employed in graduate-level civil engineering research. Topics covered will include approximation and computer arithmetic, systems of linear equations, linear least squares, eigenvalue problems, nonlinear equations, optimization, interpolation, numerical quadrature, initial value problems, boundary value problems, and partial differential equations.
